The 1601 Hardware 'Full Access' Bi-folding door hardware provides 100% jamb-to-jamb opening access. Door panels fold 180° and lay flat against the wall. This hardware series does not use top or bottom track, instead the door panels are supported with standard hinges and guided with the adjustable 6063T6 extruded aluminum 1601 control arm. 14 – 16 gauge steel parts for long life and zinc trivalent plating for corrosion resistance and quality appearance. *(Factory supplied 1605 hinges can be replaced with optional mortised butt hinges for heavier door applications or to change the look. Consult hinge manufacturer for weight capacity.)

Optional ball bearing mortise hinges can be substituted for 1703 panel hinges and 1602 jamb hinges for doors weighing up to 50lbs. [23kg] each. BALL BEARING MORTISE HINGES SOLD IN PAIRS ONLY (AS SHOWN) 2 HINGES PER BOX.

MORTISE HINGE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

We suggest 3 hinges for doors up to 8' in height, 4 hinges for doors 8' and taller.
